CO2 Laser Wart Removal

Wart is a common skin disease that causes discomfort or pain, also affects appearance. As wart is contagious, it can spread to other parts of the body, family and friends by physical contact.
Carbon dioxide laser treatment (CO2 laser) is an effective treatment for a various types of warts, including common warts, flat warts, plantar warts, etc.

1. Principle:

Using a high-energy carbon dioxide laser (CO2 laser) to remove diseased tissue precisely without causing damage to the surrounding healthy skin.

2. Treatment Process:

a. Firstly, our doctor performs physical examination and determines the location, type and size of the warts.
b. Next, anesthetic cream will be applied on the treatment area to reduce pain during treatment.
c. Then our doctor will remove the warts layer by layer with the use of CO2 laser.

3. After-Treatment Care:

Keep the treated area clean and dry
Avoid strenuous exercise and contacts for one week
Observe for any infection or adverse reaction regularly
Follow-up visits with doctor to ensure complete removal and prevent recurrence

4. Results:

The recurrent rate of warts treated with CO2 laser is low. Most can be cured after 1-2 sessions of treatments. Some refractory or recurrent warts may require multiple treatments.
